Nice location not very crowded and super friendly staff. I was amazed that a DMV this friendly existed in the state of California. Why did I ever go to the Victorville location? Did I mention how friendly and fast it was?? I will drive here for now on.

I can't believe these people are so inept and don't know how to do their job. I went to get the Real ID but I don't have my new permanent resident card since I renewed it a year ago and it still hasn't arrived but I have the I-797 Approval Notice letter from Homeland Security and they tell me that it is not valid when it is one of the documents found on the California DMV checklist. They ask me for 2 documents with my address, one with the PO Box and with the physical address and another with the PO Box and they tell me that the physical address must go first and then the PO BOX if it is the same all match what is the difference. These people don't want to work. Need a lot of training.

I went to take my behind-the-wheel test at this DMV and my experience was really great. The lines were short when I went, so the wait wasn't long. Everyone was helpful and nice. The actual test was pretty quick, and the examiner gave directions at a reasonable time. Would highly recommend taking the behind-the-wheel test at this DMV.

Worst experience to get a identification card. No customer service or no sympathy and they can’t think outside of the box. Have passport and online banking statements but they want a paper copy of the statement. I had to waste money printing statements at a staples to get an ID. Lady in window 3 rude no help. Lady checking people in shhhhhed a lady like she was a child. Terrible customer service

The written test vision test in drivers test the drivers test is just going around the block doing a reverse with out hitting anything in going back to the DMV at barstow dmv

I don't think you will get a straight answer..but you can contact the D.M.V customer service since all fees will change due to how much you paid for the vehicle.... The D.M.V website has a registration calculations on the fees... I think you need the last 5 digits of the vin # and the licences plates to get a more accurate information.
My Father has 2 vehicles 1 in Sacramento and I have the other in las vegas. I am going to barstow to register the vehicle. What do I need to bring with me? Can I get smug check in Las Vegas? Does my Father have to be present at Barstow Dmv?

I think all the rules apply to the entire state of California D.M.V. you need to bring all the paperwork such is the pink slip/ title

no, you have to get smog check and inspection done independently and bring proof to the DMV. protip, if you have a newer car you might not need inspection or smog check.

As long as you have a clear title, it is just filing for a new title....if title is not clear, then you need to go through whomever you financed through.

Yes. You need physical documentation. I think an i.d and birth certificate will be good. They have a list of valid documents you could use.

You can't. You just have to go wait your turn in line. It usually takes about 2 hours from start to finish. They'll text when your number is getting closer so if you live nearby, you can wait at home.
Yes I recommend calling, if you can't get through they are taking walk-ins. If you walk-in go at like 7 am so you're the first person in line. Otherwise you will wait all day.
Expect about 2 1/2 hours start to finish if you are there when they open. I went for license renewal and that is how long it took me. Good part is on the second part you can wait in your car to be called and finish up.
Govt ID's- Passport, Social Security card, - to get the official Real ID, which allows you to fly airlines after October 2020, you will need to supply info on your living status. I used my house taxes bill and a rental agreement. Online, go to California DMV. It cost $30 cash.
If you are asking if you should go to DMV to change your address.....the answer is yes but you might be able to do so online. You would have to check their website
As far as i know they are not responsible for lost or damage to any property in or on the facility

You'd have to register it to get new plates iirc, but depending what year it is, you'll have to get it smoged first. There's a chance the AZ car might not pass due to less restricting emmisions, thus you would need to get it 'fixed' to meet the standards. I wouldn't bother if it needs that.
I have to renew my license by the 25th of this month, but need my glasses to take vision test, glasses won't be here till at least the 29th, do I go in and pay and then go back for vision test? Don't want my license to expire

Probably early morning. As for the day, Im not sure. I went right when they opened on a Thursday I think and the line was very short. However, each day can vary.
