The clams casino was delicious but my pasta didn’t do it for me. I really like thick sauces and fresh noodles, so this didn’t do it for me. But the flavor was fantastic of the sauce. Lots of kick. And it’s if people do like thinner sauces so don’t rely on my personal preference. Aside from the clams casino being delicious, there is a big reason to go here. They have amazing prices on their wine. You can get a bottle of silver oak for $140. That’s unheard of at a restaurant. I would absolutely come back for appetizers and wine, but I likely wouldn’t do dinner again. Just not my personal taste, but other people love it. Riccio’s is definitely worth checking out.

If they ever bring back 'Kitchen Nightmares' -- this place would be a good candidate. Overall, food cocktails and service, mediocre and dated food. Appetizers: crab cake and mussels. Crab cake was dense and dry. Mussels were served with a watery broth, which was partially saved on flavor because of the overwhelming amount of garlic, but was otherwise unseasoned. Mains: Special of the evening -- white fish with a lemon caper sauce and fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The lemon caper sauce was okay, unfortunately, the fish was bland and the sauce could not save it. The fish was accompanied with potatoes, julienned carrots and a single broccoli stalk. It was more reminiscent of a tired school lunch than a nice evening dinner. The four shrimp served with the pasta were plump and tasty. The alfredo sauce was so thick and congealed it actually looked like mashed potatoes. Good white wines served in chill glasses were a nice touch. Friendly service and interesting cocktails, including the 'red, white and blue' martini saved the evening meal from being completely disappointing.

An Italian-style restaurant I always have liked and have visited multiple times. Outdoor seating is very nice for people-watching. Food and drink are very good. As an hors-d'œuvre we had Escargots. They were very tasty but could have been a touch hotter. In addition, a small fork should be provided to get the meat out of the wells. A dinner fork is just too big! My friend had Shrimp Riccio for the main dish and I had Broiled Scallops. Both dishes were very good, but, again, could have been served hotter. The wines were fine and out waitress was super-friendly. Riccio's is also a good place to go before a theatre performance. The Palm Canyon Theatre is diagonally across the street.
