I've given this location THREE (3) chances just to prove myself wrong... I really wish I was. This particular team seems to only provide friendly customer service to everyone who looks like them. I've always come during the LEAST busy time and ordered non-complex drinks. Even being the ONLY person in line, 4 people, usually the females, will look at me, roll their eyes, and continue a casual conversation with another team member without ever greeting me. There is always the guy with the (blonde) colored hair who is sitting at the long high table in front of the register who FINALLY gets up to walk behind the counter to take my order but seemingly "bothered" that he has to. However, they all will greet everyone else (who looks like them) promptly and politely; I've witnessed it each time. This last time I ordered a simple iced green tea with agave. After 15 minutes, and no one else on the shop, my name is called. No explanation was given as to why it took so long. This has been my experience each visit I've had. The music at this location is always so terribly loud too. I've been to other Better Buzzes (my new favorite being in Mira Mesa) where the staff is superb and friendly to EVERYONE who walks through their doors. Having worked in both food and hospitality and other service industries, it pains me to see how terrible people have become at providing at least good customer service, especially in a city like San Diego. If you don't subscribe to welcoming and being respectful and kind to ALL the patrons of the business as part of your job, please do us a favor and find another job.

Coffee was good, nitro cold brew. Very smooth. Egg sandwich was good, but i thought the egg was over cooked. Cute space, with small outside space covered by an umbrella.

Busy, buzzy, cars lined up outside - it looked like Better Buzz had more of a line-up in their drive-through queue than the near-by Starbucks.

Better Buzz is San Diego’s staple coffee spot. There’s always a long line of cars waiting at the drive thru, so get ready to wait. But the coffee is worth it - the blended caramel buzz is a must try and their seasonal drinks are always a hit as well. Skip the Starbucks next time you’re in San Diego and get some Better Buzz instead!

If they do, I'm not aware of it. I've been fairly regular there and I've never had it offered to me. To be fair, I've never asked about it while in store, but in an age where almost every coffee shop is constantly asking if you're apart of their rewards program when you check out, it would stand to reason that they don't have one.
You probably just need 25 more minutes of patience for their best.drink.ever. I'd recommend taking advantage of the free WiFi while you wait. And customer service here is always on point. -a local
