Great historic hotel, clean, bar/pool tables in the basement. Not perfect, but for the price it's a no brainer.

Yes a very very good professional people to help and understand the customers need with a true concern for them. The Wells Inn has a feeling like stepping back in history when the 🌎 was a better place. I recommend to all, and I myself will be going back.
Definitely a unique experience. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and were looking to provide my coworkers and I with a good stay. I will say that the rooms are definitely cold, it's an old building and the second floor had no heat so they set up space heaters in everyone's room. And none of the rooms were the same, I'm fairly certain I got the smallest one out of my whole group. Plumbing's loud and rooms need to be updated. All that being said there was a dope game room in the basement (pool tables, darts, TVs, smoking allowed), a hotel cat that chills in the lobby (also super friendly), and the beds were comfortable with some wifi as well which can be hard to find in WV. I'd definitely stay here again
This hotel is a JOKE! My fiancé and soon to be father in law have been working out of town but they have been in the same in the same area of West Virginia for two years and this is where they stay. They don’t clean the room, they don’t change the sheets. They are lucky to have clean towels everyday. This hotel is getting $1,200 from them alone a month. Not counting the other pipeliners that stay here. They say they have free breakfast but they never cook, they just offer you a muffin they buy from a store and put out like they made it. I used to like this little place when he first started staying here but now it’s like they don’t care about their business at all. Take your money and get you an apartment that is furnished before you spend your money here.
