My husband and I walked into the lowes in apple valley. Jenn was an excellent representative of their customer service. She was working in the nursery area, however she walked us over to customer service and stayed with us until all our questions were answered. We had in mind opening an account and making a large purchase which we did not tell her. But the excellent customer service we received mostly from her sealed the deal. We will definitely keep coming back for all our home improvement needs!

I've found that the Apple Valley location seems to be better stocked than the Victorville location. I tend to go to Home Depot more often than Lowes but these days you have to go anywhere that may have what you are looking for, for your home improvement projects. It's not like it used to be.......

Been here 6 times to have some sun shades cut. They keep cutting the wrong size. I'm tired of coming here 3 times in 1 day. Lowe's needs to hire and train people properly for the dept they work for.

Waited in line for 20 minutes. Only to be told by the cashier, cash only. Had to go to another check out line. 30 minute wait. This is the second time for this Lowe's in Apple Valley. No problem with other Lowe's. I will not be back to the Apple Valley Lowe's

It depends on the length, generally they come in 8,10,12,14,16,18,20 and 24 foot lengths. There is also a matter of quality, they have a basic 2x4 that is green,(still containing moisture so it will shrink a bit and possibly warp if left to dry on it's own) that would cost just over $3.00. They also have better types of kiln dried wood that would be better looking and be straighter at a higher price. Last but not least there would be pressure treated wood that can be used in applications where the wood can be used making contact with the ground. The price of the 2x4 would depend on what you're planning to use it for.
