This was our first time visiting this amazing Mexican restaurant and of course it won’t be the last, the place is beyond beautiful an authentic Mexican restaurant with a very loud and beautiful atmosphere, the whole theme it’s different everywhere you see.! They brought me back so much memories whoever thought of the theme in the restaurant is a genius, the service was amazing our waiter was the BEST! He was busy but always so attentive and with a giant smile, the food was so delicious the drinks were amazing I would definitely recommend to anyone to go and try this restaurant you are going to love it! I wish I could give this place more than five stars!

Amazing place to enjoy savory mexican food and great drinks. The whole place is decorated showing Mexican culture, colors and folklore. The paintings, the signs and figures are all beautiful, there is not a single corner throughout the whole place that we wanted to miss. We had an amazing time. Drinks are nice and strong. Service was exceptional. It does get very packed on weekends evening. We arrived to the restaurant on a Saturday @ 4.30pm so it was still good not so crowded. MY ONLY ADVICE IS: they should include home-made spicy salsas when serving food... that's a MUST!!!

PROS: This place had thee best atmosphere I have ever seen. Life size statues on the floor and hanging from the ceiling, stuff on the walls, colors of Mexico everywhere. This place was nice! The staff was friendly, the food was great, and there was a good variety on the menu CONS: i'm never a fan of valet parking and the food took forever to come out. The place is also overpriced OVERALL: I highly recommend coming here. Despite the few cons I feel like the pros outweigh them

Immediately pulling into the restaurant there is limited parking on the weekends, so they force you to valet your car. Otherwise, La fortaleza is a great place to celebrate a birthday! I mean everyone that comes to this restaurant is celebrating something, every 5 mins there is another birthday celebration. Once you go into the restaurant it is very LOUD and there is very little space in between tables. Our server was MIA most of the night. In a blink of an eye, this restaurant became a nightclub. It was fun, but food was not the main priority after a certain hour. The chips and salsa were pretty good. The Al pastor was very chewy. The drinks were thankfully the highlight of the night. I highly recommend coming here if you wanna drink and party. You might even get to see fresh throw up on the way out! I honestly will not be coming back for food, but I will come back to party.

Hello! At La Fortaleza we keep safety practices in all aspects of the business. When it comes to COVID practices we have a thermometer at the entry that dispenses hand sanitizer, we follow state & city/town guidelines in reference to indoor capacities and recommended spaces in between parties. After each table we clean & sanitize the tables with the appropriate cleaners & disinfecting solutions. In addition, our complete staff is provided with & uses masks. You can feel safe in visiting any of our restaurants. Hope to see you soon!
I went on a Saturday afternoon 4pm. We were seated upstairs right away with no reservations.
Yes, but be careful is expensive place..... I know a Mexican restaurant in North Bergen called Puerto Vallarta, it is the best as a Mexican restaurant .. The best chicken fajita is there and the prices are the maximum
