I'd like to share a great experience I had at hertz recently, I went to rent a car at this location, I mentioned to the employee on duty there (Rameem) that I wanted to return after hours, which they said would result in an extra few days charges so he set me up to return at a nearby location. On the day I was to return I was running late and forgot to put gas in the car, I asked the guy there what were my options and he told me I had a 29 minute grace period, so it would be much better to go get gas quickly and come back and he gave me the closest gas station to get to, I had 15 mins to go get gas and get back so I started running back to the car. Rameem ended up doing overtime at this location, saw me running and asked what's wrong, I told him and he said, that gas Station is always crowded but I know the guy that works there let me tell him to hold a pump for you because you don't have time to wait, I got there and sure enough there was a line but the attendant was holding a pump for me!! I got gas and made it back with three minutes to spare!! In a world where most people live like they hate their job it's super refreshing to have people go above and beyond like that, from Rameem to the other gentlemen that worked that day they were all super accommodating and friendly so I had to let everyone reading this know, Rameem saved me money when I picked up the car, and on the return, definitely would recommend this location if you're in the area.

Bare with me because I have some venting to do... I usually don't do this but I've learned if you don't share you might as well be a part of the lost opportunity for improvement. Even though I rented from this location twice - the customer service was horrible each time. First time I walked in no one even acknowledged me as a paying customer looking to do business expect one worker. The brother that wears a hat was the only one there that seemed to have the decency and willingness to assist customers. No matter if the customer(s) were there for the Uber department or the regular Hertz department. Thank you sir! The wait time was over an hour to pick up my reservation the first time. I was early yet still ended up leaving after nearly two hours of waiting as if time waits for anyone. Upon returning my reservation i had to wait yet again nearly two hours just to get a receipt (smh). My second visit? Nothing has changed. There was this lady there that didn't acknowledge me, besides her cell phone screen, nor barely looked in my direction as I entered. Shortly after shared that someone would be with me that takes care of the Uber department. Dan, the "manager" over this specific department seem to be exhausted and/or appear to not like his job very much. Both times lack enthusiasm to assist me. This time like the first, I rented a compact car but yet given a SUV which is bad on gas for me to be using the car for Uber. From my experience with the wait time at returning my reservation, explored the option to return the vehicle after hours/Dropbox for the keys. I followed all the instructions labeled but yet it took this place to close out my reservation over a week after I returned my week long reservation. I called and I was told Dan said he would be out for two weeks and that he is the only one that could close out Uber/Hertz reservations. Therefore, I spent every day (two weeks) calling this location to get assistance closing out my reservation -mind you I'm already dealing with an emergency at home, not theyre problem but just expressing my disappointment. Dan didn't let me know to return my reservation at a different location. If that was the case, I would have to skipped the bs and headache shortly after. So my options were: Catch an Uber (up to $30+ both ways) or Public transportation to pick the car back up and drop it off at a different location, which I was for da** sure wasn't about to do OR Call the 1800 number repeatedly to get things sort out. Which I feel I shouldn't have been doing if Dan properly done his job or simply communicated his two week "absence." Moral of the story, all of this could have been avoided if decent, if not A+, customer service were a thing at this location. Thank God for upper management at the Hertz headquarters for taking care of my concerns and for returning what they (this location) were "trying" to overcharge me (an extra week). Never again would I rent from this location. *I've warned you*

Not sure how much is a 2 day rental but you can return car to LaGuardia
The lot is left open on the Willow ave side, if lot is full park in street parking.
They take a deposit from your debit card so that money cannot be used while you have your rental out. You can put down a credit card and switch to pay with your debit card at your return.

Unfortunately only the Paramus New Jersey store is open on Sunday's with limited hours.
