I was having fan trouble with my ac unit and I was fairly sure it was a capacitor that needed replacement. I also wanted an inspection to make sure nothing in the unit was leaking. After contacting this company, they were able to send out a technician the same day. Dan (our service tech) was very professional and courteous and explained everything to me in detail at each step of the process. He was able to solve our issues (it was the capacitor as suspected and he was able to replace it with components he had on hand) and he conducted a thorough inspection as well. I appreciated Dan's professionalism and obvious expertise with these issues and will definitely call him again if we have any issues in the future. Thank you for the help.

Ez Breezy showed up on time, always kept me posted as to who the technician would be and when he would arrive. Their representative, Dina, quoted me thousands of dollars less for a mini split than a well known company I had been using for years. The quote was for the exact same system, with the exact same warranty. It was very important to have the system installed on the day we agreed upon and when they went to pick up the unit, they discovered it was damaged. Ed, the owner personally drove three hours in order to bring an undamaged unit. Anton and Vlad who installed it were efficient, professional and friendly. It was done in less time than they estimated and this included dismantling my old system and taking all the parts down through a small hole from the attic crawl space. I intend to use Ez Breezy in the future for servicing my other two AC/Heating units and highly recommend them to anybody.

EZ Breezy has very affordable prices and had top of the line Trane condenser, condenser coil, and furnace in stock. They were ready to replace my failing AC system in a matter of days. They arrived on time and finished replacing the system in 4 hours. They showed me their work and walked me through the new features of the system. Also, they were very responsive and answered all my questions. Finally they provide an easy way to finance all or part of the cost if needed.

Yes, this is normal. A heat pump generally produces air that is 80°, which is considered warm and will heat the house evenly. However, 80° may feel cool to your hand, which is usually closer to 90°.

Changing out your air filter regularly is the primary maintenance you can perform. When talking about ground mounted outdoor units the units will need to be kept clear of debris, which includes any foliage in the area. Additional maintenance should only be performed by qualified personnel.

For peak efficiency, performance and filtration, it is recommended that you replace your disposable filters at least once a month. If you have washable filters, they should be cleaned once a month.

Is an HVAC system with higher capacity better?

In general, no. HVAC systems are the least efficient when first turning on. A system with too much capacity will run in numerous short cycles, turning on and off repeatedly, therefore causing it to be less efficient and increasing energy consumption. Another primary function of an air conditioner is to remove humidity from the air and running shorter cycles doesn’t remove humidity from the air very well.

HVAC systems use a metric called S.E.E.R. (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) when assessing efficiency. S.E.E.R. is the amount of cooling your system will deliver per dollar spent on electricity. For example, a 3-ton unit may have a S.E.E.R. efficiency rating of 13, 14, or 15. The higher the S.E.E.R., which ranges from 13 -17, the more efficient the system will be.
