It would nice if the ER doctor actually examined the patient before rendering a diagnosis. If she does not care to treat people who look different and speak other languages, she should consider telling the patients to go elsewhere or she should choose another profession. Disappointing to see a mature-age doctor to behave this way and perhaps her employer is okay with that since she does not seem to have any reservations at all to be less than kind and condescending when questions are asked. Patient in ER is already under stress and does not deserve a rude physician.

I spent two days in the hospital, the hospital was very clean single rooms. Kailee was great, she was very informative she let me know what was going on with the doctors what my test meant. The rest of the staff was very good also. They knocked when entering my closed door of my room. The food they served was very good. Overall I had a great experience at this hospital.

I ended up having to take my two young children (2yrs and 8mos) to St. John's ER one evening because I was worried about coughing and fevers. It turned out to be something minor, just a virus, but I was very pleased with the care we got while there. We are new to the area and are still in the process of getting set up with medical insurance. Despite that fact, that we were still treated quickly and with the same care as anyone else. We were told that the hospital could bill our Medi-Cal once we were approved. This was such a relief for me as a mom. There was no wait in the waiting room at all and we were immediately taken to triage where the nurse took great care of my babies. He was very patient with my uncooperative 2yr old. The doctor who treated the kids was kind and thorough. She prescribed antibiotics for one of the kids who was developing an ear infection. Overall, we were there for about an hour and a half which is a practically unheard of time frame for an ER.
