Avoid this airport at all costs. Security workers hate their lives and will take it out on you. Missed my flight because they spent 45min doing an enhanced security that other airports do in 10min. They didnt care about anything. Left airport never to return

Stayed here for almost a week. Nice hotel that's literally build next to small airport - literally adjacent to the runway. They serve coffee until 11am and meals at the restaurant at normal meal times but do close down inbetween. The two Queen rooms were decent for what we needed. We saw some planes take off, including a cargo plane multiple times along with the numerous cesnas

Yes it is legal as long as you respect the rules and you also have to respect the parking time why is there only 72 hours of parking
As of 2/2021 Allegiant is the only carrier serving SMX. Flights to Las vegas and Mesa Gateway. Portland rumored to start in 4/2021.
