This store has great produce and a wide variety of all shopping categories. Very clean and well stocked. One thing I am a little disappointed in is there are not enough checkouts with people working at them. TOO MUCH SELF CHECKOUT!!!

Huntingdon Valley Giant: Remember the scene from Elf when he says that the mailroom smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me? I get the same feeling in Giant. Once in a blue moon I will encounter a friendly face. No one makes eye contact and if the employees are standing around stocking the shelves, they don't care that you're waiting to get something off the shelf while they stand there and talk. The prices are super inflated. The only time I go there is if I am stuck and I need something right away. Other times I will go if there is specific produce on sale but otherwise I do not purchase anything else in there.

Store was packed but it was Memorial Day weekend. Deli was particularly slow but the rest of the store wasn't bad considering, and it was well stocked. We used the self checkout and had no problems or a long wait. No soda tax is a huge plus too.

I go pretty often, because they are the closest to my residence, even though they have a lot of problems keeping their shelves stocked and their employees masked. Their waiting lines are really pretty fast. They started carrying wine and beer during the past couple years, but I'm not a person who lines up TWICE for anything. Maybe they should check how Whole Foods, about 5 minutes away, handles this. Their fresh produce is good, so your oranges and grapes and bananas and apples usually last at least a week, and their dairy stuff seems fresher and longer-lasting than than places like Walmart or Target etc. I have to go to those stores for items Giant doesn't carry or is out of stock ALWAYS!

You dont need a Peapod membership card. Just Smart phone or Computer .Get the Peapod app. Apply put a Debit card or credit card on the acct and start shopping on line and when done pick your time and delivery date.
That is one of the downsides of late night closing times. There isn't enough hours to restock the entire store when they are closed. If the restocking is too inconvenient then you need to avoid the couple hours before closing.
I would not attempt it. They did say ANY CHOPPED in bag do not eat. Some markets are only taking the bags of chopped solo bags off shelf and only by some mfgr's. I personally would not eat it chopped or otherwise for a while. It surely is hurting the farmer and the people working for these growers.
Yes ,they will be open on Christmas Day . But give them a call just in case .
Don't worry, they are not good for your health, all high processed flour.
I'm sorry but I hv no idea!
They deliver to the Bustleton area so I would think that they would deliver to Rhawnhurst too.
Rite Aid is probably your best bet.
I think same as store hours and Sunday I was in there around 8 and they were still selling wine
When there's an offer for a free item in the Giant digital coupon center that you must load to your Giant store card. This can be done via the Giant app or their website.
They do sell cigarettes at the Customer Service desk but I have no idea of the cost.
You have to keep the milk properly refrigerated. Also be mindful of the expiration date. I hope thst this helps .
Yes, they are open today for Easter. Give them a call for more information.
It is 6am to 9pm , but give them a call as soon as possible just in case .
Salad bar is great, well-stocked, and fresh. Usually closes by 8 or 9 o'clock.
