I live in the 93012 section of Camarillo so Baron Brother's is conveniently located. That aside, they have an amazing selection of plants, trees, shrubs, pots/planters and garden ornaments. And while the employees are helpful, the greatest added value here is Janice. She has a wealth of knowledge to help you decide on appropriate options and plantings as well as identifying diseases, insect problems and remedies. An amazing resource!

Great trees and installers, horrendous admin I made an over-the phone deal for $775 for a tree, including delivery installation, with their sales rep Chuck Thomas. They came, installed the tree. I paid $775 when they installed it. They did a great job of installing the tree Then I got an unexpected additional bill for $1,146 on my credit card. When I challenged this charge they said there was an error but they refunded only about half. They said the reminder was due because they did not stand behind the price agreement that their rep Chuck Thomas (who had been fired by that time) had made with me over the phone. The $1,200 that I ended up paying is more than what I would have paid with Moon Valley, their competitor. But that is not all. I asked Janice, their customer service person, if she could mail me an invoice with this overage. She said she would do itright away. That was a week ago and Ive called three times since then. Every time it's "Oh.. let me email it to you right away". She never does and never apologizes for not doing what she said she would. Truly amazing, and indicative of a culture where the vendor is in charge and the customer is wrong. Since I first placed the order with their sales rep, I have I made 14 calls to Baron Brothers to straighten out the billing and admin issues-- all this just to buy a little tree!! This is totally unacceptable. Baron Brother's sales and admin processes are broken. They seem to know it, and to not care about it. Recommendation: Get written bids from 2-3 vendors, and, if you work with Baron Brothers, release payment only after you have received all the relevant documentation and bills.

They do but the nursery is hard to navigate if you are in a wheelchair its all gravel except for the paver path to the office
