Nice place. Trails are groomed so if your looking for some wild woods trails these aren't it. Beautiful scenery.

Nice area at the base of the American flag. You can see some of Huntingdon in the distance, especially in the winter when the leaves are down. You can either drive 5th st to get there, or you can hike oak trail from several locations including peace chapel to get there. There's some picnick tables there. Huntingdon's water tower is also up there.

I haven't heard anything to indicate that it's closed off. It's a hiking area, so you have to use your own judgment.
