The nigiri is out of this world and their specials are particularly delicious. Every bite is well-crafted and so incredible. Highly suggest sitting at the sushi bar! Their hot dishes and izakaya staples are also really great. This is a gem of a Japanese restaurant with something on the menu for everyone. Update to add: they also do omakase by reservation and it’s INCREDIBLE. The chef/owner puts a ton of care into every bite and it’s clear he has a lot of pride for what he does. It’s better quality and value than omakase from other spots and he makes it such a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough about how wonderful their omakase is. Whether you’re looking for a special event like omakase or a normal night out with incredible food, Masamune is hands down my favorite Japanese restaurant. You’ll feel like you’re in Japan!

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The sushi is super fresh! All the food here is delicious! If you get a chance I highly recommend coming here.

Went here for my partners birthday... Service was great. Fish was fresh. Everything was delicious. Ramune is available here, as well! & At the end, they even threw in the Mochi for free because it was mentioned that it was his birthday 🎂

This restaurant is hands down the best Japanese restuarant I've ever been to in the USA. I do not say this lightly as I used to live in a village in Japan and I have had many disappointing experiences in the US. The experience alone is authentic as it is managed by Japanese people who greet you in the traditional way. Their head chef is of course Japanese and makes an array of amazing sushi. I reccomend getting something basic your first time to really taste and appreciate the effort that goes into making good sushi. The amazing food doesn't stop there. They make great sides and hot dishes as well. They make a perfect takoyaki that brought back so many memories of Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant over any other for Japanese food.
