I was charged with being a felon in possession of a fire arm in 2003 and was placed on probation in Milwaukee with Melody Eliand as my supervisor. I appealed my conviction which was over turned by the appeals court in the state of Wisconsin with my probation to be terminated, immediately. Unfortunately, what happened just prior to my case being over turned on appeal was I was charged with a crime of domestic violence in Gurnee, Illinois for striking my girlfriend, Kira Ugalde, at the time as she and I loved together. Despite stating to the arresting officers I did not commit the crime I was charged anyways where upon hearing that I was charged with a crime Melody Eiland attempted to revoke my probation and leave me sit in jail which I did for several months until I retained Attorney Jed Stone who got me released on bail despite Ms. Eiland's strenuous objection for having bail granted in my case as she wanted me to stay in jail indefinitely and refused to cooperate with attorney Stone in any way whatsoever. The day I was released on bail I was picked up by my girlfriend Kira Ugalde from Attorney Stone's office and taken home when I received a telephone call from Attorney Stone that Melody Eiland had just called him after finding out the Illinois courts had granted me bail and stated to Attorney Stone if I was not in her office by 3:00 p.m., that afternoon in Milwaukee she was putting out a national warrant for my arrest. Attorney Stone stated to her it was against the law for her to do that as a judge determined bail was warranted in my case which was given. Unfortunately, Ms. Eiland did not care in way whatsoever about the law as she stated to my attorney Jed Stone no one is going to stop her, period. I was released from custody on a Friday and the following week my case was overturned on appeal eliminating having to be on probation. I retained Attorney Stone for my domestic violence case regarding my girlfriend Kira Ugalde who did not appear in court nor did the Gurnee police officers who made the arrest which Attorney Stone stated never happens where the officers do not show up in court for a domestic battery case. I had pleaded to everyone within earshot I did not lay my hand on Kira and it must have resonated with someone. As it relates to Kira, I asked her to do a DNA test as she was pregnant at the time the incident had occurred which she refused to do and one day was just gone. She left the house with no trace of her as she was Kira Kristine Harris when she lived with me and is now, Kira Ugalde. I am not sure to this day why Melody Eiland was behaving so irrationally concerning this matter as attorney Stone stated in all the years of him practicing law he has never seen anything quite like it where I was being treated so subjectively by Ms. Eiland and could not understand it as she was in a for of rage when my case was overturned on appeal. I would like to say Melody Eiland made my life absolutely miserable and cost me a great deal of money as Attorney Stone charged my fifteen thousand dollars for my domestic violence case which was dismissed and to have me released from custody after spending several months at the jail in Waukegan, Illinois. I will never forget when first meeting with Attorney Stone at the jail through glass and what he said to me which was what the Milwaukee Probation Department is doing to me they cannot do and are violating my civil rights. I am surprised Melody Eiland still has a job with this office.
