Very unprofessional, I've spent 3 hours one day getting paperwork together and statements from my bank for them to tell me to come back tomorrow with the bank App on your phone , and so I did and after waiting another hour and a half the next day showing them proof of funds and bank statements , they tell me they don't accept my bank . I live 45 mins away and gas is not cheap , that's why's I'm getting a loan in the first place I need help . And nothing just a giant waste of time . Couldn't just be clear and upfront . Thanks amscot if I could give you guys negative stars I would .

Very rude encounter From the Spanish guy and all of the black women like is this high school or a business... very messy and unprofessional place don't recommend coming here you would expect after a long Day you can at least get great customers service at Amscot...

I visited this Amscot on 9/6/2021. I had a check from the Illinois Comptroller’s office. The date is 4/2021. Since the check is not void until after a year, I didn’t think it would be a problem cashing it. Apparently there was a problem. Or it became a problem after the cashier made sure to find a problem. She asked for identification. I had the correct identification. She asked for the bottom half of the check. I gave it to her. She asked for the envelope it came in. I gave it to her. She asked for my thumbprint. I gave it to her. She asked what the check was for. I told her what it was for, and also pointed out it says what kind of check it is on the bottom half of the check. She then went to talk to someone else. ( I’m assuming a supervisor). She then made a call and informed me she could not cash the check. I called customer service myself and they backed her up. To say I was totally embarrassed is putting it lightly. Amscot never had any intentions of cashing the check, they just wanted the sick joy of making me jump through their hoops, just to turn me away. So rude, so condescending and just bad business practices. They should just post a sign stating they don’t want certain checks or they don’t want certain customers. Please avoid this place. I hope other locations have better service. Unless you enjoy being interrogated, being asked to produce ridiculous amounts of proof and the just turned away in the most unprofessional and snarky way…go somewhere else

Love how they laugh at you when you're in a hurry, they need to be more organized!! They're very rude and unprofessional. They need to work on their customer service skills. I worked in a condo with rich people and they treat me better than here, Sad enterprise, gotta love putting places like here in low black income neighborhoods..

If they approve you, you have to show that you work, how many times a month you charge, if you have direct deposit and give it two references and a working cell number.
