My pediatrician did not have flu shots available at our last appointment, so I scheduled an appointment through the DOH for a free flu shot for my 19 month old child. It was a convenient way to get a vaccine without having to book and pay for a follow up appointment with my pediatrician. There is lots of on site parking in a garage that is free once you get your ticket validated. I brought a stroller and there were entrance ramps and clean elevators in the parking garage and DOH building. After having our temperature checked at the front door, we went to the immunization wing which was new and very clean. There were only two other visitors in the waiting room, and everyone was wearing masks and maintaining social distance. I filled out some basic paperwork and waited for approximately 20 minutes. The nurse administering the shot was friendly, good with children, and very quick. I was back in my car in about 50 minutes. Highly recommend this facility for child vaccinations!
