Its in walking distance and has different events. I was at the the black history event and a proclamation was given to and every year this event will take place. I had a great time I had a great conversation Elijiah Mantley a local politician,PJ owner of Pjs Corner Pocket i usually go on sundays and Lorenzo Robertson who has an event there on Feb 23rd. I plan on attending.

This place is upsetting; as a lesbian couple holding hands we were made to feel unwelcome here. We visited to ask about support groups - reception guy looks me up and down and smirks "we don't really have many females come here so you won't find what you want". Excuse me? I hadn't even finished explaining that I wanted to know WHAT groups are available as we were moving up from the Keys and he just dismissed me and left me hanging. This is a pride centre yet full of judgement and hate; only useful if you want HIV testing

Yes, the Pride Center at Equality Park has a number of support groups such as AA, NA, and various LGBTQ-related ones, or can refer you to any/all LGBT related organizations/groups in Ft. Lauderdale area.

Hi there! Pride center can help LBGTQ people with resources and free HIV testing. We also host many AA and NA groups. We also have computers that are free to use.
