Great place to go for a nice walk or to bring your dog for a walk also. They have some BBQ spots. It’s all on the water for the most part & I haven’t seen an alligator yet so that’s also some good news. Depending on when you come here expect to see some people picking oranges which is also pretty cool. It’s free during the week but they charged $1.50 per person on the weekends to enter the park which can get busy on the weekends.

Such a lovely park. The view of the marsh is so pretty and so many pretty trees. Clear walking pathways and they even have a spot to workout. Entrance is $1.50 per person, kids under 5 are free. It is also pet friendly.

This is a really nice running trail / park. Very spacious and you can really log in the miles here. You have tons of paved roads and sidewalks where you can jog to your hearts content and plenty of grass if you simply want to lounge around and have a picnic with your family and kids! There are a few spots for catch and release fishing as well plus you can rent boats for a ride. Extremely well maintained!

This park is one of the best park here. Honestly all the parks are spectacular here in South Florida. There is no entrance fee during weekdays however during weekend small fee like 6-7$ to be able to enter the park. Lots of barbecue options with tent. And they have plenty of bathroom and everything is spotless. Also if you would like to a birthday party or something you should do a reservation.

All dogs are allowed as long as they are on a 6 foot leash.
I am looking into the same thing. I have a guess it's elderberry but dont have the courage to find out for sure, lol
Open on weekends, but don't know if they're charging admission,(before covid they were charging). I know its free on weekdays.
No. It’s more of a pavilion style park for parties . Try Hugh Taylor Birch State Park .
They still have peddle boats available. I've never seen anyone use them but they are there.
There are a lot of different species here. Even black widows and brown recluse
Yes, as soon as the Park reopens to the public. They were still give out Covid-19 Shots the last time I looked. Check there website for update.
Only twice a week Fridays and Saturdays
Agreed the first shot took an hour we go Thursday for shot 2 hopefully it will not take as long
Am not sure I went there on a weekend and covid testing is during the week. How ever I notice tent setup
Always at 6 is was there and they kicked us our 550
Nope! You can't climb the trees
1.50 per head On weekends
It's very shady and about a mile and half long.
No you don't. You can walk in or ride your bike in.
I don't think that's a problem just not to feed wild life I'm asumming
No
I think there is no problem, and it is necessary for those moments
Yes contact the park management
Yes you can. They have charcoal grills and you can bring your own as well. I bring my portable gas grill there regularly. In fact planning on it tomorrow. Happy grilling.
There are also stables right next to the park ... you might want to see if they rent horses too.
They don't have a course set up for it.
Nice spots with grill. Get there's early ang get best for you
Yes, there are. But for more serious bike trails, try Markham Park. But it's$25/year.
Yes, but, I have only seen wine and beer
There are grills and there's a fire pit area on the island in the lake to your right as you drive in the park. Not sure if special permission is required or not.
Yes, but its catch and release I believe.
You need you call the park or go on the park website.
Snack and ice cream vending machines at main building.
You can take your horse and guide it wisely as there you will find families gathered
$1 per person on weekends and holidays. They also accept credit cards.
I would say for you to call their contact number online and verify of it is allowed.
Watch out for bees and snakes, the bees wake up all at once and harass you along with the wasps and occassional hornet.
Absolutely, but I find it more fun to sneak them in. You can dress them in a large overcoat or say that it's your conjoined twin. The possibilities are endless.
