I lived here for 2.5 years in a remodeled one bedroom until June of 2021. One of the best places I've ever lived. Both Aimee and DeeDee were always receptive, helpful and kind. The maintenence man was very nice, I loved the regular inspections and never had any genuine maintenence issues. I got all but a few dollars of my deposit back. The only problem I ever had was with a security guard that harassed me a few times, trying to block me from coming onto the property when I'd come back from smoking, demanding to know who I was, what apartment I was in and other things that gave me the creeps. I do remember having conversations with other neighbors about him. I complained immediately, DeeDee was the one I spoke to, she apologized and said she'd look into it. I don't know if he quit or was fired but I never saw him again. This is a nice, clean, safe, quiet complex and I'd live there again of I ever move back to Southern Oregon.

MorningSide is a very well maintained apartment complex in a convenient location. I was lucky to move into a remodeled unit which they did a great job on. My only complaint is lack of parking but no fault there. Covered Parking, so nice! The gym and pool are great and the dedicated car wash spot is a nice touch more apartment communities should offer. Out of all the rentals I've lived in MorningSide is the only one who does regular inspection of fire alarms and regularly changes out the furnace filters. DeeDee, Amy, and the Maintenance Guy, sorry I'm bad with names, have all been amazing throughout our time here which has been almost 2 years if I'm not mistaken. We are closing on a house soon and will be moving out but I highly recommend MorningSide to all of my friends and associates looking for an apartment.

I have lived in Morningside Apartments for over 11 years. Recently bought a house and move out. Morningside is located near Mall and other major stores. Very good location. Their club gym and community pool are very clean and nice. I spent lots of summers in the community pool. The whole community is well maintained. The manager DeeDee and Amy are very professional and nice to work with. When sometime I request repairing, they always try to come as soon as possible. I would recommend anyone who is looking for apartments stop by Morningside and check it out.

Lived here for a year and it was the worst renting experiencing of my life. Where to even start with this place. First and foremost DeeDee the property manager is rude and inconsiderate. Over my year living here I was threatened with eviction for having girlfriend over too much. (They thought she lived there she didn’t ) was also threatened with eviction because my roommate had dual residency, I was even criticized for not being at my apartment enough by the property manager. This is the first apt complex I’ve ever had problems with. DeeDee was rude and just not friendly to deal with whatsoever, I cannot stress that enough. I had to call Al Angelou (owners) several times to have her stop spying on me(her office window faced my bedroom window) , threatening me with eviction, and harassment. Finally after the owners told DeeDee my roommate could live at two separate places it got a little better but barely. They called it “caring” I call it harassment and bullying. Bottom line if the property managers don’t like you or your roommate they will make your life hell. Avoid at all costs. Interesting note : My roommate was asked several times where she lived by security but security never asked me where I was coming from or where I lived in the complex once. I’m white my roommate was black , calling it as I see it. One positive, the only good thing about the staff was the maintenance man. He is very kind and good at his job.
