It's a nice place, kind of a small park but good for a walk. The little mailbox you can exchange books at is a great idea. I didn't venture into the senior center, seemed too busy.

The senior center has lots of resources and pamphlets to help you with that.
Just some information on your Dad..a couple of papers. There are so many more things besides meals. Lots of friendly people. Crafts. And much more. Hope to see your Dad there.
