It's ok that it's not comfort food anymore. But if you're going to do small plates, they should be a good bite of something tasty and well-seasoned. I've been back twice since the reopening, to give another chance. Hoping for yumminess for the $. Not pleased. Hope good things to come!

Absolutely delicious small plate restaurant, at the time of this writing offering a menu with a lot of international influences. My partner and I split the full menu. Highlights for us were the corn ribs which was wonderfully fresh, the perfectly seared scallop, and the octopus terrine, which was probably the most adventurous dish on the menu in texture and flavor combination. Some wonderful use of high quality vegetables throughout. The only dish that either of us felt was less than steller was the Short rib, which seemed to have been delayed in the kitchen for a while. The whole menu took about two hours. I also appreciated the option for 3 ounce wine pours, allowing me some flexibility with my pairings. There are currently no suggested pairings on the menu but all the wine I had was acceptably complimentary. Decor is low key and tasteful, making this a wonderful date spot, which it was for us and several other couples in view.

I LOVED the old lucky restaurant, but the new, completely different lucky is not for me. I miss the previous food and ambiance. I had very high hopes but was very disappointed. The food was okay. I agree with the other review in that it is atrociously overpriced. $15 for one scallop, really? I did the tasting menu so I had everything and wasn’t in love with anything. All of it was just okay. The drinks and service were good. Our server was knowledgeable about everything, but sadly it just wasn’t good. I guess I’ll just come here for drinks from now on.

FABULOUS! Definitely in the top 3 restaurants I have EVER eaten at. Menu changes, I think they would be considered farm to table. Make reservations. Amazing craft drinks. Service was top notch!

Between $60 & $100 depending on how much alcohol you drink. Drinks are expensive (for Roanoke) but very good.
It's kid tolerant, not kid friendly
Hello Ms. Gibson, We open at 5pm. Thank you!
Beware! We visited Roanoke for a weekend a few weeks ago and I called a week in advance to make reservations for a party of 8 for a Saturday. I speak to a gentleman, who takes my name and number and says we are good. Our party shows up at 6pm ready to eat and find out they are CLOSED to give their employees a vacation. Not sure if they are understaffed, but a courtesy call would have been nice so we could make other arrangements. We ended up going to Billys the next day and the food there was awesome.
