Sara Rosario provided great customer service while assisting me with setting up my policy. She made the process easy to understand, politely answered my questions in a knowledgeable manner, and completed my request in a timely fashion. Since establishing my policy I have called in with requests. Nick also provided a high-quality customer service experience. I appreciate both individuals I have interacted with thus far in my dealings with Able Insurance.

Hi Daniel! Based on your question the proper thing to do would be for the two of you to go to the DMV together. Have DMV put the title in their name and list you as the lienholder. This gives you the right to repossess the vehicle if they fail to pay while also releasing you from liability should they have an accident in the vehicle. Since the title would be in their name they will be able to buy their own insurance. You should require them to list you on the policy as a lienholder so the insurance company will notify you if they let the policy cancel. In North Carolina, anyone driving the vehicle on a regular basis must be added to the policy as a driver. Adding uninsured motorist coverage would not help you. Uninsured motorist coverage only pays you in the event that someone causes an accident with your vehicle and you find out that they do not have insurance.
Most Insurance companies give a grace period. Able Insurance has agents on the phone 24/7 for questions.
There is not a drop box but you can slide it through the front door.
