We had to register my husband's vehicle and both of us get driver's licenses since we were coming from out of state. Going to the auditor, tax office and then to the DMV portion all in the same building was very convenient. The entire process took less than hour and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Much different experience than from the state where we can from. Kuddos to SC DMV for running an efficient office!

I had to register a new (to me) vehicle. It was a fairly quick process. I believe it was about 20 minutes total. I had to first go to Auditor to find out tax amount owed. Then take that paper to the Tax Office to pay the tax. Then take the receipt to the DMV to get my new plate and registration. All offices are in the same building. So it was pretty easy.

I have been in a few times in the last two weeks working on some tougher than normal issues. Lines were long at times, but it actually moved pretty fast. It is great having all 3 offices in one location (Auditor, Tax, and DMV). No AC in hallway you wait in.

As already stated this is never a pleasant experience., however all things considered they are very nice and fairly efficient at what they do. MOST of the staff are nice which can't be easy. It seems like MOST of them try to work with people the best they can. I have definitely been to much worse government offices.

how much is my plate
What do I need to do to get a South Carolina driver's license moving there from Virginia
No I'm from ny and relocated to sc. No test but an eye exam and proof of id
Go by the auditor office at the DMV.
You should not as long as signed the title as seller.
As of now no but may want to check with DMV before you go, things change day to day.

I have no idea..sorry.
No
Best to check scdmv.com
No we just walked in
No!
South Carolina registration not required for some utility trailers.
I'm not sure. I'm so sorry. But I would think so
Yes you can do paperwork there. But the actual handicap decal comes though mail
No. They are no longer doing appointments, but you may want to get there as early as possible.
I honestly don't know
Hey no you don't need a appointment anymore and they haven't had a long line or wait to get in..good luck
I believe you can, but may have to wait for a sticker in the mail. I used to have one, and only had to ever get that sticker, than no more charges ever. That was NMB. Not sure about the city you are in.
I just transfered license and they required my marriage certificate along with the other required documents for the license.
You can pay taxes thru drive thru, however u must make an appt. For tags and registration. It is easier to make an appointment than wait in your vehicle for an opening. Taxes must be paid before u can get tags and registration
Go to website and make the appointment or you can do a walk in
I think as long as you have the prescription from the doctor, anyone can pick it up
Sc dmv website
Scdmv.com then look for the location u want to go to.
We have gone twice in the last few weeks. We didn't have an appointment either time. We were in there for under an hour each time. For DMV side, you give them your info and they will text you when it's your turn, so you can sit in the car to wait, versus inside
I came at 930 and i didnt have right paper signed so she told me to be back at 2 and i was .Told me to go set at Library. After 2 hours i went up and ask her why i haven't been called .She look at my paper again and said you got to go back pay your tax then wait .I know she had to be overwhelmed with all those people but it would be a help if when she looked at your papers to tell you to go and pay the taxes I had done been to the auditor's office I thought I would pay my taxes when I got my tag but after about three and a half hours I left with my tag and you paperwork but she was doing all she could do people are getting mad and that's not a place in time to show our ignorance so I was very quiet I just ask. I moved down from Clemson and Oconee does a little different. But i know it had with covid-19 but thanks for all y'all help I will know in the future. God Bless
I didn't, but that was a few months back.
If on the road yes
As of now you need to make an appointment. If you go there they may be able to fit you in, you just have a bit of a wait.
You need to make an appointment to do anything.
That is the only info I can give. Call local DMV and they should be able to give you a fax number.
Go to scdmv website, they provide fax numbers and email info under contact us
They make it tough in South Carolina a rent leash or utility bill if you were married you have to have your marriage license if you were divorced you have to have your divorce papers the original ones you should probably call if you can't get ahold of anybody there at the DMV then call the tax department right there on 57 as well they will show you the right way
Yes.
