I love this library. The staff is awesome, they have a great selection of books, magazines. They have Seeds too and if u have seeds, u can donate them but make sure whether they are accepting the seed donations. Masks are mandatory and if you forgot library will provide you with. Just next to the library, there is a pond and lot of ducks to play with, but pls be gentle with the ducks tho. Behind the library there's a play ground attached to a very big grass area... Check out their wide variety of classes both online/in-person.

Group study rooms and kids story time are really nice.

Nice library! Playground for small kids is partially lite at night. Lake is full with ducks and geese.

They do. Check out https://www.sjpl.org/volunteer for more information. There is a page on that section that explains how to become a volunteer (https://www.sjpl.org/volunteer-how-to) and another whole section that highlights featured volunteer opportunities. If you want to find volunteer opportunities only at Berryessa Branch Library, you can go to https://www.sjpl.org/berryessa and check out the Get Involved section, which has a button you can select for finding volunteer opportunities at Berryessa and a button you can select if you are more interested in joining Berryessa's Friends of the Library group (https://www.sjpl.org/friends). If you have any additional questions or concern, don't hesitate to contact the Volunteer Services manager listed on the main Volunteer page. They are super responsive and very friendly.
Here is more detailed information about food policies and general behaviors in the library: https://www.sjlibrary.org/policies-procedures/behavior-library. There is a specific section about Food and Drink. If you are curious about other policies, you can check out https://www.sjpl.org/policies.
Sure. There is a drop box outside.
No dogs allowed inside but there is a nice path around it that I walk dogs around (on leash). Also a grassy area nearby that folks use to let dogs roam and a pond across the street, so nice overall.
Yes but some volumes are either being borrowed or aren't in the collection
