I Never Was

We found ourselves stopping by at Masjid An Noor, the written name of Muslim Majlis of Staten Island. Though situated across from a school in a congested residential area, the Masjid offered space for prayer areas, wudhu stations, restroom and meeting space for both brothers and sisters. All facilities seemed clean and maintained. It did seem increasingly clear this Masjid may be following a non-traditional ideology and is rather unlike most traditional Sunni Masajid.
