They are always very courteous here. I’ve never had a bad visit. The prices are reasonable and the shop is clean. Not much to say but I highly recommend them.

Way too strict on visual inspection. Had to drive to drive to Sacramento to get a rare piece and then he failed me on my second attempt for something completely different. The guy in charge mislabeled hoses as "vacuum hoses" when they weren't. Failed first for visual inspection, then went back and the guy let it cool down for an hour so then it failed emissions. $220 later and two failed tests I decided to go elsewhere. Paid $70 at a local shop and passed with flying colors. The whole time I felt like I was being played. The guys here weren't honest to me and wasted a ton of my time and money. Go anywhere else, it doesn't matter. If you have a car before 1999 then they're going to charge you a premium and nitpick every little thing.

I've been here before...I believe this place was called something else and run by one guy. I didn't remember the or recognize the name, but I think it was owned/run by one guy...perhaps he sold the business or retired...matters not. I do however remember the location well. I remembered the big hump you need to get over at the entrance, especially if your car doesn't have the greatest ground clearance. It can definitely be challenging. I sent out several requests to get a quote for a regular smog check. Smog Check Plus was one of the quickest to reply and had the best price as well. These guys are fast and efficient. No BS. They smogged my car and sent me on my way within 15 minutes or so. Luckily they weren't too busy when I got there. Right when I left, there were several other cars that pulled in... They are also Star Certified! No issues coming back.
