I just had a bacon, Taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to Gianella’s since I moved to the area four years ago and it’s stellar every time. Great and fresh food and even better service. This place is a Glen Rock institution.

Worst deli sandwiches EVER, we each ate half and threw out the rest. I should've listened to my nose when I walked in, place reeked of old cooking oil. Went because I was in the area and it had good reviews, idk if these r fake or not, because the place was just not good at all. Employee steered us towards what we got, claimed both sandwiches were incredible. Well, let's just say the Chicken was thin & awful, eggplant was raw and everything tasted old.. Took too long. Place, as aforementioned, smelled like old oil (bad smell). Food was fairly priced for the portion, but if you want to enjoy your portion, take your business elsewhere. I don't ever write reviews, but this place sucks.

I have been going to Giannella's for about 2 months once a week. The service is always friendly and the sandwiches are great. My only gripe with the Italian sub is that they are so good that it is hard to try other subs! The Mona Lisa was …Thanks Eric!
