Friday night fried fish is always great. The seafood chowder can't be beat. Good place to meet friends and enjoy a great meal.

Words can't even begin to describe how fantastic this experience was. I was in charge of planning a bachelor party for my brother and had this place suggested by a close friend. I knew nothing about the course, I knew nothing about the area (Tionesta), but am ecstatic to share that not a single person was disappointed. There were 8 of us so I booked their weekend golf package which included a 2-night stay at the condos and 18 holes of golf for each day (thanks for helping me book this event, Terri!). We scheduled tee times for Friday and Saturday, but unfortunately the forecast for the entire week leading up to our Friday/Saturday stay kept saying 100% chance of rain. Because of that, instead of bringing our golf clubs, we decided to bring more beer and indoor activities since it looked like golfing was not going to be possible. Our Friday tee time was for 4pm, but because we decided to change our golfing plans at the last minute, we ended up arriving around 4:30. I apologized for being late and explained that we changed our minds about golfing. Vicki (Sorry if spelled wrong!) checked us in and actually refunded us for the portion of our package that made up the golf fees. This I was not prepared for at all, and was completely unnecessary as we were the ones who decided not to golf. So right off the bat I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating and generous that was. The next day turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day. No rain at all - so we were bummed that we wouldn't get to golf. I was laying in bed regretting my decision to drink the night before when one of the boys burst in the front door of our condo screaming with joy: the owners/employees somehow managed to round up 2 sets of clubs (one of our guys brought a set as well) so they allowed 6 of us to play and share 3 sets of clubs! Again, this was unheard of and completely unnecessary on their part, and the guys were thrilled to play. Me and another one of the guys weren't feeling too hot from the amount of alcohol we consumed the night before, so we didn't really have an interest in playing, but did want to see the course and one-of-a-kind views of the forest and river. Vicki and Rick (who is one of the owner's, I believe) said that was no problem and handed us a key to a cart and let us drive through the course and take some awesome pictures of the overlook at hole 7 - FOR FREE! (Though Rick joked that we would have to pay $115 per person to do so) Again, we were blown away by the level of hospitality we received here. The wait staff and bartenders were fantastic as well. Our entire group of guys agreed that Brittany (spelling... sorry again), who was our bartender for 95% of our stay, was the most fun bartender we've ever had. There were times where the entire bar was full, the restaurant was packed, but we still never had to wait more than a couple minutes for her to hustle back to us and ask us (each by name, too!) if we needed anything: "Dan, you good? Mike, need anything? Alec, how was that drink; need another?" etc. It made everyone feel like we were at home and had known her for years. It wasn't just her service that was top-tier either; there was never a dull conversation to be had when she was involved, plus she was absolutely hilarious! We also had the pleasure of meeting and being tended to by Samina (probably butchered the spelling again, SORRY!) for an hour or so on Saturday night after Brittany left, and she was just as fun to be around. Even the other customers who came in to eat or drink were super pleasant to be around, buying the groom-to-be shots and drinks when they found out it was a bachelor party. And I'm 100% sure there were more than handful of times where a few of us were being overly loud/obnoxious... times where I'm certain we would've gotten the boot at any other establishment, but instead we were kindly reminded by the bartenders or wait staff that we were getting too rowdy and needed to take it down a notch so as not to offend other customers - which we all felt bad about and understood completely.

I love that golf course and the staff. They are very friendly and curtious. The course is fun and has many beautiful views of the river. Plan to go there again.

You have to go to a course like seven springs to find such a scenic course. I have a camp in the area and try to play it as often as I can. There is a wonderful mixture of tough and fairly easy holes. Great course for all skill levels. …
