My kids love all of the parks in La Grande. They are very well maintained. We often make the drive over the mountain just to go visit all of the different parks. The skate park is always free of rocks and debris. The playground equipment is up-to-date and I love that my kids can play in a safe atmosphere. Keep up the good work Parks & Rec ♡

The Sk8 Park is good . My 5 yr old grandson rides a scooter and loves it. However being new to the area it took me all summer to find it. Google 'skate parks' did not bring it up I had to have a local teen tell me.

Needed gas fast - 1st exit up was LaGrande. Hit 1st statiin (Mobil) where they come out to offer help with the pump just as protocol. The staff was also busy answering questions for several of us -- places to eat, walk the dog... And she cleaned my windshield while I pumped. Sweet service. This park by a city pool was where she pointed me -- perfect! Close by, beautiful grass lawn. Bring your own bags.

Hello. I am Karen. You may have met me at Morgan Lake as camp host. In two weeks the park will be closed and I will be heading out. I do want to say this was a great experience. To be honest the first week here I had heard some stories that had me questioning my hasty decision. But either the stories were exaggerated or things have really settled down. It was quiet and calm for the most part. I always felt safe. I met some wonderful people up here. Everyone is so kind. On a hot day a gentleman brought me ice cream. A couple days ago a lady stopped to see if I was warm enough or should she bring me blankets. There seems to be a balance here. There is the camping, hiking and fishing. Lots of water play, swimming, tubes, boats, canoeing. Crawdadding. Hermiston and LaGrande school came up for a bbq. They were remarkable you could not even tell they had been there. They left it so clean. I saw family pictures being taken, birthday parties for little kids. Dog walkers all over the place. Prewedding parties, joggers. I guess my point is there is 100 different things going on and no one was crowded, Room for everyone and everything. So thank you all for making this a remarkable summer for my self and everyone one else that came up to Morgan Lake.

The City Parks & Recreation Department does not have any, but I belive La Grande Country Club has had some in the past. I'd try there.

Is there Camping nearby with rental cabins?

Morgan Lake is our only campground and it offers primitive sites only. Try Oregon State Parks. Emigrant Springs State Park is only about 25 miles West of La Grande.
