WARRANTY. Yet another example that Warranty coverage is useless! My Dometic water heater stopped working on a 2021 Coachman. After finding an authorized Dometic dealer and making an appointment for service the bad customer experience begins. After troubleshooting the issue, this dealer stated they do not cover warranty work (even though Dometic authorized dealer) and stated that I need to pay $573.12 directly for a new circuit board and installation (two screws & plug). The circuit board cost was $321 which Dometic would ship to them directly so definitely trying to gouge customers for extra $$. The good news, Dometic support is seeking alternatives for me to resolve the matter as well as covering costs already paid. So, $123.98 out of pocket + Biden gas tax to deliver to Bloomsburg, PA. Funny, the service manager shared other services they provide and of course immediately sending marketing emails to buy. I do purchase a new trailer every 3-5 years so I'll look for them at Hershey to share my experience with other customers. My guidance, never pay directly since you will not get refunded especially at the unreasonble dealer cost. I will be happy camper once again in the near future. STAY AWAY or you will experience similar service! 6/25/22 UPDATE: Dometic sent me a new circuit board to replace the "faulty" one. As suspected, this did not resolve the issue. As the Dometic authorized dealer confirmed a faulty circuit board after their tests. Simply wrong! Glad I got my trailer out of there...I'd probably be in the $1,000+ by now and probably would still be broken. 6/27/22 UPDATE: More videos. Ordered ECO and Thermostat controls. $11 from Amazon. Replaced. Simple fix. No tools. Sparking again. End story, another business trying to gouge customers with unneeded repairs. This should be illegal and a crime since they charged me $123.98 to troubleshoot and confirmed the circuit board was bad. NOT! I feel bad for the people that are forced to be deceptive to make a $ for the company. I said I'd be a happy camper once again. Have a great day and watch your back! 7/11/22 UPDATE: After a week camping trip, the water heater worked as expected. $11 fix by a non-mechanic. I guess I have more experience than the mechanics at this place.

Where should I start! Terrible service. We had an appointment for two minor issues. During a time period of two months we called to check on it many times. Always an excuse. Finally they called and said they couldn’t find any problems. We went to pick it up and of course the problems were obviously still there. We gave them another chance to make it right. After another week we stopped in to check on it and they said oh we were just going to call you. We have to get prices on parts. We had enough. We took it to another RV repair place just down the road. It was there 4 days, parts were ordered and both issues were fixed. Lesson learned!
