My fiancé refuses to go to any other hospital for the ER if we are in Boston. I have been with her now 4 times, every single time it has been at a minimum of a 6 hour wait. And I can’t believe how filthy and out of date everything is in this hospital. Blows my mind that people from MA accept this place as a high quality hospital. I guess the only good thing is at least I learn to really appreciate my hospitals in Palo Alto.

Had an appointment today and while in the waiting room I witnessed an employee chasing down and yelling at what appeared to be delivery men for what she said was "standing awkwardly in the elevator" and "asking an employee what floor radiology was on". To their credit the 2 young men never lost their cool or even raised their voices as they were verbally berated for merely doing their job. So disappointed to see an employee of this hospital treat another human being with so little respect.

Knowing I have covid and am dangerously dehydrated they could of cared less. Waiting over 4 hours in emergency room watching people be taking that came after me!!!! Do your self a favor if u are sick don’t come here. I feel a million times worse then when I first came in. On top of a toddler screaming at the top of his lungs right into my ear making my migraine worse. Still in the waiting room I think I am gonna die before they care enough to help me!!

It is more likely that some "doctors" at this hospital (maybe at other hospitals as well?) are interested to intentionally kill patients who could survive if not given some "treatments" which caused the death. Those "doctors" probably have reasons for such actions: get paid or pushed to make false statistics? Unfortunately, it is very hard to prove harm of those actions. Hospitals and doctors are covered by their insurances and some recently made rules... . Palleative Care tried to involve themselves twice in care which was not in need yet. Someone at this hospital made a decision to finally allow the Palliative Care to get the access to the patient who was on his path to recovery. They made their powerful decision to give high doses of morphine in a short period of time (during one night). They have probably a reason to not tell the family that they are going to give Morphine to the patient who was not in need of that "medication" (at least at that point). They called it as a "pain medication" in order to get Agreement from close relatives to start on Morphine. Two questions remained with no answers: why they decided on their own to give high doses of Morphine to the patient who did not experience any pain and why they did not want to tell the family about Morphine? I got the impression that one nurse there was getting a pleasure by watching patient dying and by telling relatives with a smile on her face about that process. Have to say that most of doctors and nurses there were professional and nice, especially those who work in ICU.
