I don't normally write reviews, but this is worth the 5 minutes. I woke up to a small flood in my basement bathroom. Called Service Stars for assistance. Within an hour, Lewis arrived to help. Very friendly and took the time to help me clearly understand the problem (an issue with an ejector pump that was not turning on.). Knowing I needed to have it fixed ASAP, multiple calls were made to get the parts and scheduling, which was very quickly confirmed. Within 48 hours, the team arrived right on schedule to replace the pump. Again, very friendly and thorough service, which gave me piece of mind. As a new resident to the area, I'll definitely use and recommend the team for future service. Thanks guys!

We have been using Service Stars for several years. Very satisfactory. Recently, Eric, their master plumber, came and installed a water distillation unit. Very professional, reviewed the unit with me, and everything is fine. In the past, they also installed electrical and plumbing for a bathroom remodel. Eric fixed a sink drain problem that three other plumbers said they could not do. They installed a ducted heat pump HVAC system that will significantly lower our energy bills. Highly recommended for expertise and professional service!

I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy and Darryl from service stars. This is a family run business which prides themselves on service and connecting with their customers to better understand their needs. I did some shopping around and found their company to be more in tune with customer needs. They were phenomenal from start to finish. For context: our AC system went out just before summer and they were incredibly professional, flexible and accommodating. This is no small purchase and so they took their time and walked me through the details of a new system, what to expect, how this would fit into future renovation plans, comparative pricing and different options for future service. Knowing that the hot weather was coming they scheduled work quickly and around our schedules. They kept the house clean, covering the floor with a foam covering, wearing booties to avoid dirt. Their work was insured and they dealt with the city permit side of things. They made sure things were done to code and called me before major changes to make sure I was on board. Their whole crew was incredibly personable and respectful of my family and our schedules. When the work was completed Jeremy stayed behind to give me a thorough tour. He pointed out key features, troubleshooting and expectations for the new system but he also gave me time to ask non-job related questions. (I’m a first time homeowner and had a bunch). Both him and Darryl gave me their personal numbers so I could reach out with questions directly and not through a machine or operator service. I really think their service speaks volumes and is worth the price. I highly recommend them to anyone with HVAC, plumbing, electrical needs. If they’re reading this please thank your whole team for the hard work!

Billy and Nick were punctual, professional, friendly, and efficient. We had suspected we needed a new AC system in part of the house, and they explained our best options (less pollution is especially key) and arranged an appointment for us to hear more. We were very pleased with the company!

Yes! It's one of our most popular systems to install and maintain. The compact design and flexibility it provides allows us to install them into every home of shape and size.
Yes, we do require a diagnostics fee of $89 during our regular operating hours (M-F 8AM-5PM). We do have technicians on-call for emergencies 24/7 which would require a $199 after-hours diagnostics fee weekdays after our offices close (5PM-8AM) and weekends. Our Club Members have a reduced diagnostics fee of $69 every day and time of the week.
Since every home is unique, we strive to make sure every repair and service is tailor-fit exactly to what the homeowner needs. This introduces many variables, making what would seem like a simple service in one home a very complex one for another. Because of this, our technicians price out what is needed once they can physically diagnose any issues. The price provided is set by the job, not by the hour. This ensures there's no hidden fees or "idling time" that could cost the homeowner more than they need.
We unfortunately do not perform appliance installs and repairs. It'd be best to reach out to either the original manufacturer if still under warranty or to an appliance company to help out with this!
