It’s a beautiful facility, it looks like the animals are well taken care of. But the staff did not impress me at all. I brought in five 2 week old kittens that we found, the mother was found dead, and I had been bottle feeding them for a week, every 2-3 hours and bathing them and just giving constant care while having two of my own young kids. I got attached to these kittens and really loved them, so when I brought them in, they took them right away and didn’t even give us a chance to say goodbye, and when I asked if they would bring them back out, the front lady said probably wouldn’t. Which really made me sad and my little girl who loved them too. And the vet came out to ask a few questions a two times. And after the second time, I waited for over 20 minutes, until I had to ask an employee walking by if I could leave. I had a 2 year old and 4 year old getting very antsy, and they couldn’t even let me know i wasn’t needed anymore. Was not impressed with the staff, did not like that I wasn’t going to get to say goodbye. That was kinda heartless.

Take forever to review your application. Don't look forward to get any dog there . Most have 20 people on each and the ones that don't have any there is a reason. Last cat I got from here gave all my other indoor cats flea so bad it killed 1 of them. They at least keep there animals fed active and are kind to them or else it been 0

Go to the website and click on donate. Follow the simple instructions and I am sure they can use whatever you can donate. Bless you.
Depends on the weight. Look on their website. There is a list of prices. And you have to join a waiting list to schedule an appointment.
I think so.
Yes, but please clean them first. You'd be surprised...
136, can't miss it with the dog cages aligning the exterior. They have some nice dogs. Don't know about the cats
They did not sure if they still do
If you look on the website it will tell you. Our dog was 100
Yes they do as long as you meet the income requirements. Sometimes the shelter will have specials during the year too.
You must be 18 or older or have a parent or guardian volunteer too
Yes they do offer some . Just give them a call
It is a no kill shelter & they do accept cats/kittens. They are great! And will take amazing care of your animals. Taking them to Washington Area HS is an excellent decision 😊
It depends purebreds are more than mixed breeds and if your a veteran they are free. But they have a lot of very cute and good dogs all around stop by and walk tru just to see if they have your new furbaby.
Give them a call . They should be able to tell you
They have boxes out front for donations of such items.
For adoption consideration, yes, by appointment.
Hours are 2-5, but they get pretty busy so it's good to go as close to 2 as you can.
Maybe they need small blankets... Call and leave msg or email them 😇
Last I heard they r being checked out, cared for and fed
It's actually because they had to cancel people that were scheduled on severe weather days, so they had to push everyone back to allow the people who were cancelled to have the opportunity to get their animals done since they had been cancelled. They are an amazing crew and so worth the little wait. Is it urgent for your dog to get spayed? If so, maybe give them a call and express that and ask if they can work something out for you or I could reach out to my mom that works there as management and have her contact you.
There's a place in cannonsburg that you can get cats spayed very reasonable. Called Fix-ur-cat. Not sure of the number.
I believe you have to be 18 years or older to volunteer (legality issues due to the possibility of animal bites). I would call and ask, but I think you may be too young. It's great that you want to volunteer though!
I think they go by the weight of the animal, so it differs.
