My husband and I went to the restaurant for dinner. Food and portions phenomenal absolutely fantastic, you won't walk away hungry that's for sure. The atmosphere dark and kind of creepy. Not a lot of windows in the place and there is stuff everywhere, every surface is covered with stuff including the ceiling it just makes you feel like you're in a overly decorated cave. Trevor our waiter was absolutely fantastic.

Very disappointed in our visit last night. We decided to go there because of their steaks and prime ribs. I ordered the blackened prime rib and hubby ordered steak. His was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My prime rib came out RAW. I waved over the waiter and he said no problem will have it cooked a little more. Maybe 10 to 15 min later he brought it back to me Again still RAW. So raw like it was never put in the oven to cook longer. I will say it was gross. By this time hubby had finished his meal and I just received my raw steak back the second time. I decided to just take it home cook it in the oven myself, even telling the waiter that. . In the trash it went because it was really gross. Waiter could have cared less. Will never go there again!!

Anyone locally familiar with the longtime favorite premiere Cocke & Kettle restaurant still mourn it's closing many years ago. We recently dined at the Mendon Steak & Seafood restaurant in Mendon, Massachusetts. We haven't been there for a long while. I'm pleased to say we were completely amazed. The food was delicious, well prepared, with large portions of each item. No skimping on anything. Our table server was beyond professional. The food came fairly quickly and was placed on our table in a manner you only see in top tier restaurants. Polite, concerned, and friendly. I also want to say the eating areas were spotlessly clean, neatly set, and tables nicely spaced apart with respect for the times we live in today. There are huge expanded, relatively new table areas to accommodate many patrons. The charm and interior beauty of this New England Steak & Seafood restaurant is something to behold. The owner of this fine eatery deserves the highest compliments for creating a restaurant that is a masterpiece of food, service, and fun.

Recommended by a local and it was delicious! Casual and 'old-school' vibe to the restaurant. Lots on the menu. Seafood chowder was very good though a tad salty for my taste. However, the ribs may be the best ribs I've ever had! I've been dreaming about them ever since! Rolls came out with blueberry cornbread and cinnamon rolls which were also really good. Portions were big and service was excellent. Beer selection was really small but you come here for the food! I'm from out of town but hope to return sometime for those ribs!
