Perfect place for a walk, run or bike ride. Well marked paths, friendly people, beautiful nature.

Great forest for hiking and biking. Clean, quiet, well maintained. It even has a beach/picnic area at Berry Pond.

We had a really nice campsite. It was clean and the grounds looked well kept. The nearby playground was great for the little ones. The staff was really friendly. It wasn't very quite though, you could hear traffic from a nearby road. But overall a really nice place to camp when you want to ruff it.

My dog Daisy and have been staying there off and on since it open this season. The park crew and park rangers keep that place so nice, I love the peacefulness and the room that campsites offer.

Yes
The forest was among the state's earliest acquisitions of logged-over land for purposes of reforestation. It was established in 1916, and named for the Massachusetts State Forest Commission's first chairman, Harold Parker, who died that same year. The Civilian Conservation Corps was active at two camps in the forest from 1933 until 1941. The corps' work included the damming of small streams, creating many of the small ponds that dot the forest's landscape.[4]
$17 per night
there are rest room by Pomp's pond, and also at the entrance to the trail from Harold Parker st
Just make sure he has his rabies shot and bring his rabies paper when you go
You can swim at Frye Pond which is on the Campground or you can take a small drive to Berry Pond to Swim.
If it's the really long one that is in Skug.
Becuse if they had trees fall during a storm or something they might take them off the reservation list until they clean the sites up.
Yes
No gas motors allowed in the water or forest, not sure about e-bikes or e-boats
I don't think so didn't see any for rent people bought there own
They have dates and regulations posted at the beginning of trails, like on the billboard thing
Major mountain biking event this weekend probably not a good weekend to camp, plus it's going to pour on Sunday.
Yes. Several sites are designated for RVs and have electric hookups
Tent sites are generous. Should not be an issue. Happy camping.
Did you ever go? I'm curious I live a mile away from there
Yes, at your own risk, there are no rangers
The park isnt open for camping during winter
It's not ideal because you can't cut anything down or make anything (people do) and the land is pretty well cared for so there aren't tons of supplies laying around. So while technically yes it wouldn't be ideal in my opinion.
Water, yes. The tent sites have no electricity
The only legal camping is in the campground.
Field Pond
