I've just finished having a condo built, not too far from Chace's local branch. My builder suggested that I contract with a number of different suppliers: separate ones for plumbing fixtures, lighting, windows, flooring, paint, etc., because I wanted full control of the specifications and of the quality. From some pricing recently rec'd. from Chace's, I now believe that if I had shopped (and sourced) all these items from them, it would have resulted in many dozens of hours less running around, and suffered little, if any, with pricing at no loss of quality. The folks I worked with, we're very personable and were at pains to make sure that I understood terminology and options. They also advised that delivery when and as needed was a part of their normal service. I know that my builder bought a great deal of my condo's materials at Chance; I wish that they had suggested that this supplier should also be on my short lists. It could have saved SO much time.
