Super fun place to kick your toes in the water, walk the dog, or courteously enjoy your favorite beverage. Pretty chill place - people fishing or enjoying the water. Gets deep fast so don’t venture out too far. Very bumpy road in - that never seems to change.

This place Was an amazing place to fish, swim, etc. It was a sad day to find out its not like any more. Understand they block it off and building houses. The only plus is there are a couple other places you can still get to.

Love the beachy feel, but please take along a trash bag to help clean it up/pack out what you bring. Lots of trash gets left.

Questions & Answers

Is this a good place for riding horses and how long is the beach area?

It is suitable for riding horses but not recommended. Sand is not dense, and will sink beneath feet. The ground is going at a downhill grade with little beach area and usually many people there with families or driving through with cars. And usually is filled with many sticks and driftwood. The beach area is a few miles long or so beflre you go into the RV park area. However, I do not know much about the best terrain for horse riding.

Is there a boat ramp here or no? Can't tell from satellite?
