Cabin Creek Rest Area Southbound

Clean and comfortable, pulled in to rest and left the lights on. We discovered the mistake when the car wouldn't start. Had to borrow some cables and a jump. I believe the friendly environment and picturesque surroundings helped to create an atmosphere of helping trust in that we were offered what we needed from multiple people and were on the road in a flash... in all, an uneventful event that still pulls up a smile 😃

Cabin Creek is very nice. Lots of open space to walk pets or have a picnic old-school style. CAUTION: There are Poison Oak warnings around the perimeter, so stay on the path, LOL. K-Dub and I love nature and this place is beautiful. Restrooms are nice and clean and the water fountains are on.

Nice rest area that is clean and kept. Bathrooms are nice and even smell nice which is always preferred. Not too much traffic in and out of this rest area, so take a couple extra minutes and rest your weary driving eyes. Take a couple of extra minutes and go on a bit of a walk around the rest area. It's good for the human soul and will revive you for your trip.
