Let's put it this way: you've not been to Cambridge if you haven't been to the Lamplighter. This brewery is one of those places that define the character of a town and become a test of whether you've explored it properly or not yet. Excellent beers that rotate every now and then. A chill and welcoming atmosphere that only gets better once you discover the cool room in the back. The staff is always friendly. Prices are fair. Patrons are a nice bunch which may come to be friends with. What's not to like? One of my favourite spots around.

Neat brewery, really good variety of choices and everything I had was pretty solid. Liked the dark beer and sours the best. A really cool place, love the variety of seating options, just wish it were a bit bigger - my friend and I ended up standing the whole time. The back lounge area looks super cozy but we got kicked out for a private event which kind of sucked.

Love this spot for a beer with friends, especially when there’s a good pop-up in the kitchen! The only downside is it can be tricky to get a spot to stand, let alone a table to sit at, depending on the day/time - I’d say it’s worth the wait though!

It's literally a jungle (flight) out here... We got light, we got bitter, we got bittersweet, and we got something reminiscent of kombucha... All in all the brews are all very distinct, so there's something for everyone in the jungle flight... It's very crowded tonight and from what I hear it's not the norm. It's also the overall youngest crowd of all the places I've been in Cambridge, maybe has something to do with Lamplighter's investment in the community... 👍👍👍👍 They also serve coffee and have a back taproom for special events. Tuesday's trivia night... I highly recommend a visit.

No, Lamplighter is a brewery and they do not serve food nor do they have table service. It's just order at the bar and find a seat or some standing room.
Most established craft beer stores in the greater Boston area carry their beers. Call your local stores to find out if they have it
We do have non-alcoholic gluten-free options (cold brew coffee, kombucha, and a seasonal soda), but we don't have alcoholic gluten-free options. Cheers!
No
Usually no, but they encourage you to BYOF or order directly to the taproom. There are occasionally food popups, though, and Longfellows (coffee shop in the same space) serves breakfast sandwiches at certain hours.
