So peaceful and friendly nuns and followers, I don't know any word in chinesse eventhough the people assisted me with kindness. At the end of the ceremony they provided a free meal. It was an awesome experience and I'm learning more about buddhism since then.

Hi, thank you for your interest in our temple. There's no regular schedule for meditation at our temple. That only takes place sometimes, after all the different regular monthly services have been conducted for the month. For example, meditation may take place when there's an extra Sunday in a month that has five Sundays. May we refer you to this Thai temple, also in Quincy, that focuses more on meditation: Dhammakaya Meditation Center Boston 65 Roberts St Quincy, MA 02169 Phone 617-479-0674 http://www.dmcboston.org/
Thank you Linda, for your interest in our temple and Buddhism. Yes, all are welcome. But, those of us that speak fluent English are typically only at the temple when there's service (and typically it would not be quiet enough for meditation when there's service). So I would like to refer you to a couple other nearby temples. Both are run by the Ven. Thiện Huệ. He speaks fluent English. That way if you have questions or want to learn more about Buddhism, it's easier for you. Samantabhadra Buddhist Center (Huệ Quang temple) at 155 Quincy Ave, Braintree, MA 02184. The other one is at 275 Chestnut St, Abington, MA 02351. He said to let you know - on weekends, go to the Braintree one; on weekdays, go to the Abington one.
Hi, we appreciate your interest in the temple and Buddhism. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, access to the temple (and English speakers that can help you and answer your questions while you are there) is limited at the moment. Let's wish for an early end to the pandemic. So we can happily welcome you and everyone to the temple once again.
