I live in town and it's nice having a place to go where I can get almost everything I need to fix whatever may break in my house. Prices can be a little high on some things but all in all it's a good selection and it's reasonably priced and you're not getting the same Brands you get at Home Depot or Lowe's and I like that.

They don't have any issues taking your money, but have serious communication issues in house. 5k of lumber ordered for a deck...they took payment immediately then didn't order the product for the deck. I wouldn't do business with these people ever again. Absolute joke of a business. Customer service is horrendous, at best. Me on the phone: may I speak to (name of associate)? Lady at Maki: "nope. He's on his phone." Can't wait to be done dealing with this cesspool.

I always buy local and avoid the big box stores as much as possible. However, after many visits to Maki home center in Gardner, I'll drive to Home Depot or Lowes. Your customer service at the counter is horrible! That woman with the tattoos couldn't get a worse attitude! Not everyone that comes in your store is a professional contractor. So,questions shouldn't be met with an Answer with a horrible attitude. I'll take my money elsewhere. I would like to add that the employee at the gate was great and I completely appreciated his assistance. That's why you got one star at all.

not sure if they have a website or not that's always a good place to start at least could narrow it down to the specific department so you could get an answer quicker.
