Pebbles is a rescue that I adopted when she was 3. She was TERRIFIED of EVERYTHING. Even though I’ve had her for more than a few years now she still struggles with many things. New experiences are not easy for her. She’s had 2 ACL surgeries and has severe arthritis in her elbows. Physical therapy is a necessity. Luis and Mary made her more comfortable than I could have imagined. I can’t believe how great she does in the pool! It’s obvious they’re passionate about dogs and they’re very good at what they do. Pebbles and I are grateful for their kindness and expertise!

Outstanding service! Luis & Mary are very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Our senior dog always seems better after a session and they have been so good with her. Especially since she doesn't like water! They have managed to gently coach her into the pool to the point where she really seems to enjoy her time in the water. They are very good at evaluating her needs and working with how she presents on a given day. I can not recommend them enough, have been a major help in my dog's health and well being.

Our 3 y/o 75# Pitbull Pumpkin had TPLO surgery in November 2019, Good Dog Aquatic was highly recommended as therapy following the surgery. Luis and Mary could not be friendlier if they tried, they both embraced Pumpkin like he was their own pup even accepting weeks worth of kisses that Pumpkin loves to give. Pumpkin worked very hard here, and we saw tremendous results from the obstacle course work and especially all the pool time. Luis takes his time and measures the mobility of the injury weekly providing clear results. Not only did Pumpkin get weekly blow-dries after his pool time but Mary was kind enough to give Pumpkin a holiday chew toy which was the icing on the cake. Pumpkin is back to 100% and that is due to the surgeon at Bulger vet and the rehab provided by Good Dog Aquatic!

Mary and Luis are the most caring 'animal' people you will find in the business. Our GSD was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Myelophathy. Today was our first visit to Good Dog and it could not have gone any better. Our dog is 8 years old, very impatient, and has never been swimming. Mary and Luis took their time to make her feel at home and very comfortable. They explained everything in detail and were very informative. I would also like to add two thumbs up to the 5 Stars. In addition, their facility is spotless. Very highly recommended.

Questions & Answers

Do I have to have my dog referred by a vet to have hydrotherapy?

No. Call them, Luis and Mary, the owners will be happy to answer your further questions.

Do you offer hydrotherapy on a treadmill? The website only seems to have a pool, but my dog needs therapy for his back legs but hates swimming and has done the treadmill before at Angell West.

Hi, We do not offer treadmill hydrotherapy. I think Angell West still offers this service. Sorry we couldn't help.

Does insurance cover the therapy? Thank you!

Yes, check with your insurance company. Each handles PT claims differently. Thanks🐾
