Really nice place! The gentlemen that own/operate the store were super friendly and talked to us about everything. Very comfortable and warm. The store is a little cramped, but the selection is second to none and the prices are very reasonable. Got an outstanding buck knife while I was there that I'll treasure forever. Plan to make visiting this store a regular occurrence on my way out to fly fish!

If you need anything for fishing, hunting, or boating and Hunter's rendezvous is a great place to go. They have all types of pistols fishing rods and ammo. This is not your typical sporting goods store. The setting is a log cabin with real people working the business. The atmosphere is very laid back with knowledgeable people working.

Been in there three times. Once to get a fishing license (didn't sell them), once to get some arrows for my son, and don't remember the purpose the third time. Arrows were expensive, junk wooden target arrows. Each time I was treated like a guy wearing a tuxedo in an auto parts store, like I didn't belong. I change my own oil, and don't need that attitude from anyone. There are a lot of places to shop. Place in Ayer is much better. Don't need this one.
