Based on previous reviews, I was expecting it to be nearly impossible to get my passport renewed at this location. However, I had a very pleasant experience. I was in and out in less than a half hour and the staff was extremely friendly. The one downside was that passport appointments were only available about three weeks out from when I tried to schedule. Nonetheless, when the appointment came around, it was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this location.

This passport location is impossible to work with. I called no less than 5 times and no one ever answered the phone. I left multiple messages over a 2 week period with no call back. When I went into the Post Office during their advertised hours, no one was there. I asked at the Post desk if they were there and was told "they kinda do their own thing..." . After coming back another day I was able to make an appointment for 5 weeks away. I called up to the Madison Post Office, they immediately answered the phone and made me an appointment for two weeks out. The drive out there was nice, scenery beautiful, and the Post Office quaint and NOT BUSY. We walked in at our appointment time and walked out 10-15 minutes later all set. It was well worth the drive out there.

This office never answers the phone, even though a phone call is required for what will typically be a 1-2 week wait time for an appointment. My recommendation would be go to another nearby town and use their passport office, otherwise you'll never get one.

This passport office is a complete joke. First off, nobody ever answers the phone or returns phone calls, and when you show up in person they are unhelpful, unpleasant and rude.
