Not so sure if off day for them, but it wasn't great food or experience. We sat down shortly before 930. Waitress stopped by once for coffee refresh after 20 minutes. No mention of food. Just how long does it take to do omelette and french toast? Then she noticed other table who came in after us got their food already. Only then did she check on our order. We got our food about 10. It was cold and soggy. Pretty tasteless... we left about 1010. She wanted to know if due to the wait. Actually the food sucked.

Our server was excellent. The food was good, as always but it did take a little longer than usual due to the shortage of employees. To be fair there is a notice on the door stating that. Still a good place to eat.

I came here with my parents this morning. Given that the restaurant was crowded, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait to be seated, though it really took no more than 5. Despite the restaurant being packed, we received our drinks and had our orders taken a lot sooner than I've experienced at most other restaurants I've been to. Already, before even getting the food, the service was exceptional. I ended up getting blueberry pancakes, which were phenomenal and came out sooner than I was expecting. Usually you don't expect a crowded restaurant to be so timely with everything, but that was not the case here. The wait staff was great, as was the cooking staff. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience here. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Highly recommend.

We were visiting from Florida and always make sure we stop at The Mug Rack. Delicious breakfast and big portions. Best crisp bacon ever!!
