Took my camera in to be diagnosed. Had it configured a very specific way. Came back a couple hours later and it was still in exact way I had it. Clearly he hadn’t taken it apart and looked inside. When asked what was wrong he gave a very vague answer and quoted a ridiculous price to fix. Sent it off to manufacturer and they said it was a minor issue(completely different to what Benner’s had said) and it would cost significantly less than what I was quoted from this shop.

This is practically the only camera store in New England that repairs the Mamiya RZ67. The camera was taken apart and put back together into perfect working condition. The repair was incredibly thorough. Excellent service!

After they had my camera for 8 months to repair a simple issue that was quoted at $95 (I paid in cash plus tip BEFORE the repairs were made), I went in to Benners camera shop today to get my expensive professional Canon camera back just in time to take it to Nova Scotia with me for a very important trip. After 8 months of having my camera in their possession, the owner of the store tells me that the camera STILL isn't fixed and that the $95 is unrefundable. I told him that was ridiculous and he threw a fit and refused to return my cash or repair my camera. Once I got into my car I noticed that my $90 battery had also been stolen from my camera while it was at the shop. Now I don't have a digital camera for my 3 month expedition that I start tomorrow. I will never go back. These people are thieves and I will be suing for what they stole from me.
