Attended a beautiful wedding there. The venue is perfect. The food was so good and the wait staff very attentive.

We live in Clearwater Florida so we are used to the sites and scenes in the area, the accommadations here were extremely poor. We drove up to go scalloping and decided to stay the night, horrible decision. Front desk employee had no personality and it was just uncomfortable. The hallways to the room had a mildew ordor and the room was no different. The floors were redone in room and not installed properly, each board made a noise when you walked on them. The bed was worse, my girlfriend and I could not turn or rollover in bed without making some sort of noise. The windows would not fully close allowing the humid air and the area activities to engulf our room. The worse, mold on the bath room doors and walls. Definity needs a total redo!!!! Non residents may think this is a paradise, but it is not. We ate the West 82, had the New York Strip ,it was a beautiful cut of meat, larger than what was advertised on the menu but it was not grilled it tasted deep fried in used oil. Very large portions but I could not eat the roasted red potatoes, cold and reheated. The young lady who waited on us did her best and I commend her. Personal impression, entire staff needs training and rooms need entire renovation. We both agreed we would not stay there again. Definitly not worth the $230 for the room and $175 for dinner. Find somewhere else to sleep at night!!! Signed, Disappointed guest!! ll

Live in the area and we decided to stop by for drinks at the bar. Service was excellent, drinks perfect, overall 10 out of 10. Lovely grounds also and right on the springs here. Can rent boats and have rooms to stay in. Check it out.

We checked in late July 2021 for our annual summer scallop getaway, but this will be the last time. Our room wasn't ready at 4pm so we dad a few cocktails at the bar, after nearly an hour we got a room. It was average old Plantation room, musty but had a dehumidifier that kept us up all night. Room was clean enough no issues there so we decided to go hang at the pool for sunset. The pool was so cloudy that you couldn't see people feet, and a young lady decided to let her 30 pound dog take a swim. We had a singe beverage that we brought from the room because we couldn't get acknowledged by the bartender and left before sundown. Next day scalloping was great as usual, and we were looking forward to going back and relaxing and cooling off in the pool. The pool was now even more cloudy, you couldn't see peoples knees at this point so we just sat in our room so we didn't go out and spend more money. Our last day we gave up on relaxing poolside because it was disgusting and headed out to explore old Florida and had a real good time, only we hadn't planed on spending the money. I left a review with the plantation and actually got a reply, I was shocked and thought maybe they will make this right, but nothing happened. I responded to their inquiry of the poor review but did not get any response. I saw a review around the same time we were there that said they closed the poor because of health code violation, so they KNEW it was nasty and left it open while we were there, and never made an attempt to make anything right. Avoid this property if you can, unless you want the doors in hallways slamming all night, dogs barking and swimming in the pool and overall lack of management and accountability.

Yes
It varies with the time of year but I've heard 18 to 35 foot depth of water with nearly a mile off shore per foot of water. There is a shallower water season.
Yes
Absolutely!
Our stay didn't include breakfast and I think it was over priced. Also the place as a whole was tired looking.
The trips are great. Some of the best in Citrus. Size of groups , you will need to call for more information. We were a small group of 5. Well worth the cost. Great place to stay. Many amenities here for you to enjoy. Its a must stay if coming to Citrus County.
We saw people just using ramp.
Sometimes the scallop season will cause this to happen!!
I would suggest calling the Plantation front desk and asking them that question.
No
Since I am not with any part of the hotel oh, I'm afraid I can't answer that. I would assume that you can, but you need to call the hotel and set something up with them.
there are ADA rooms availible. they are very helpful in this Resort.
You can dress if you want, but for the most part, people were dressed more on the casual side.
Guides can be arranged when you catch all the fish from seawall!!
