I work at the central toll plaza which is a decent distance away from the ranch but I can smell it from here And it is the worst smell I've ever had to bare. I've thrown up multiple times because we can't do anything about the smell.

This facility provides a service that is unique and indispensable to the community. Organic material is diverted from the local landfill, and instead used to create a very rich, high quality compost. I'm a homeowner in north lakeland, and regularly come here to pick up compost for my garden, potted plants, trees, and for a high quality fill. Can't beat the price. Thete have been alot of recent reviews concerning how the facility smells. I don't live next to it, but there are a few things I'd point out. I've never noticed a bad smell here, despite them accepting sewage as an input to the compost. I come here very frequently too. Also, this place is located in an industrial park. Seems like an appropriate place to conduct this type of business. Zoning laws seem to agree with this. Lastly, there are many other facilities around this one which could contribute to a possible smell to houses 3 miles away. This includes a county landfill, among several other facilities. Food for thought... don't let any negative comments deter you. This place is great!

I would argue with you and take offense to your attitude . I won't though because it is unfortunate that you have less knowledge about the situation than you should . Before you comment . You need to get some information. So here ya go BS farm and Ranch is responsible for contam ok nation over five acres of wetlands in the peace river watershed . This also contributes to the contamination that is already in the peace river . Mostly because of Lake Hancock . BS Farm & Ranch is also responsible for dumping sewage into Lake Hancock every day. What if it was your family member, your mom , daughter , son , wife , brother . Whoever you love . That ended up with some coccyx negative gram infection because of the pollution ? Or what of they ended up with hepatitis? What are you going to do when someone you love is in the hospital because they drank or bathed in the water that was infiltrated by the sewage ? Like I said . I am all for organic & sustainability . But the right way .
Mr Earnie then keep you toilet waste at home and you so something with it sir and if y'all did that no one would have to worry on where to put the post waste that YOU are helping make
