It's a nice place to take the kids so they can run around and enjoy the outdoors. The walking trails are nice. Fishing during summer is ok. I think if they add maybe 1000lb more catfish and maybe put a smaller daily limit it would be better. But over all it's a nice place to visit

Last summer me and my husband stayed and catfished most of the night. You can stay all night and fish.
Yes it's located in the back of the park but it's closed for updates!
There is a "playground" by shelter 4 but I wouldn't get excited about. It's small and in a bad spot
Kids 15 and older must have a license. You can keep the fish.
No one knows though I think there some bass catfish and bluegills
Yes, go across the gravel road to the parking lot, turn to the left and there is a dark park in the corner of the park.
